Client Challenge

Our client, a consumer products company, wanted to reposition its line of dietary supplements, focusing on calcium, to maximize return in an increasingly competitive marketplace. Consumers struggled to differentiate one brand from another. Confusion in the store aisle was rampant.

We conducted mini focus groups at three stages: pre-strategy development; pre-creative development; post-creative development. In discussions with the primary consumer, we learned what really motivated her in life, above and beyond just staying healthy. We gained insights on the “whys”, not just the “whats”. We were able to partner with our client to develop an insightful strategy that led to emotional creative and successful business results for their line of dietary supplements.
